Corrosive gas application

 

For some chemical applications, the SUS antenna of the radar transmitter is not allowed to be inserted into the chemical tank due to corrosion.

For this corrosive application the antenna is designed to be installed outside the tank, and measure the chemical level from the outside.

Features:

1. Microwave, which can penetrate low dielectric constant materials, reflects the chemical level through a PTFE plate.

2. The radar transmitter including the antenna part is isolated from the process condition, and can continuously monitor the level without contacting with any corrosive gas.

 

Benefits:

This model measuring outside the tank is also beneficial for the other applications.

Example 1. The tank cannot frequently open due to harmful chemical and operational reasons.

Example 2. Any contaminations into the materials are not allowed like food industry.
